We have good news for you: we have just launched a new feature that allows you to share your comments posted by Kament publicly with others. This feature lets you generate a unique link for your comment that you can copy and paste anywhere you want: on social media, on blogs, on forums, on emails, etc.

Please note that at this moment this feature is only available to the chromium version of Kament.

When someone clicks on your link, they will be redirected to a webpage that shows your comment and the video you commented on. They will also see a button that invites them to install Kament.io if they want to join the discussion and see more comments from other Kament users.

This way, you can spread your voice and your ideas to more people and create more engagement around the videos you watch. You can also discover new perspectives and opinions from others who may have different views or experiences than you.

as Youtube grows, it has become a media platform that allows individuals and organizations to publish their video content to millions of viewers worldwide. This is amazing, but there is a catch! as everyone can upload their content on Youtube, there are chances that some of this content targets public opinion! This is fine until we come to the commenting section.

The commenting section in any public article, video, or post allows viewers to have discussions about the content they are watching, this allows them to express their perspectives and sometimes point out flaws of the video, a healthy discussion can help other viewers to look at the content with a broader perspective.

Youtube ships with a feature to disable the commenting section by the video owner, now this in our belief is a problem. because this will deny the opportunity of the viewers to discuss, and it can be used as a tool to silence public opinion.

Kament as an extension helps viewers to express their opinion on the video regardless of the owner turning off the commenting section. it is aimed to provide a healthy platform to discuss and exercise the rights of free speech to every user that has the extension installed.

Why would I install Kament?

By installing Kament on your browser, you can always comment on Youtube videos, even if the owner has disabled the videos. You can also see the comments posted by other members of our community.

But I don’t comment on videos

it doesn’t matter if you are the type of citizen who speaks their mind or not, having Kament on your browser allows you to read what others are saying about the video you’ve just on Youtube.

is Kament legal?

We tell everyone, Kament is an extension that enables YouTube comments when they are disabled. This might sound exciting and geeky, but at the end of the day, kament does not violate any terms of Youtube or the rights of the video owner.

Kament is not associated with Youtube and it does not modify any of the Youtube functionality, as a browser extension, Kament provides a discussion platform within the YouTube pages.
